Fort Putnam

Operates Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from June to August.

Catch all the sights of the one hour tour plus step back in history as we tour historic Fort Putnam, a meticulously restored fortification that was a major component of the fortifications at West Point during the Revolution.  With a commanding hilltop view, Fort Putnam provides panoramic views of the Hudson River and Highlands.  75 minutes off the bus with strenuous walking to and from Fort Putnam. Not all paths are paved.   Please dress appropriately with proper footwear.  There is little shade at Ft. Putnam.  Water and sun protection is strongly advised. This tour is only offered Friday-Sundays in June, July, and August
